We met 12 years ago in college and have been happily married almost 9 years. We're best friends and still crazy in love.
We were thrilled to find out we were pregnant and had our first child, Oliver, in January 2020.
Growing our family through adoption, however, has always been in our plans and we're still looking forward to meeting that child who is meant to join our family. Wherever you are, we love you and we can't wait for you to meet your sweet brother!
We also love our jobs!
Michael works as a Sales Manager at a West Michigan furniture company and Jenny works part time as a Children's Librarian at a local library.
We love to travel.
From Sweden to India and across the country we've made some great memories together. We hope to continue traveling the world as our family grows.
We love our home.
This is us ripping up the tile in our bathroom. and planting our lilac tree. We've worked hard on our first home together and we're very proud of it. We live 2 miles outside of Grand Rapids in a quiet, urban neighborhood.
We love our proximity to the city and all of its cultural offerings like museums and restaurants.
And we really love our pets.
Both our black cat, Edgar and our dog, Joey were rescue pets from the West Michigan Humane Society.
They are a big part of our family.
We also love hiking and camping, and we love exploring Michigan together.
